All the rage in the 60s when every apartment
worth its macramé was painted in shades of tan, it has
resurfaced to take its rightful place. And far from being warmed
over, tan is hotter than ever.
So why the new craze? Because tan reminds us
of desert sand dunes, autumn scenes and comforting cups of tea
with milk. And it looks fabulous with black and white! With
white, it works as an accent colour. With black, it has a
colonial feel.
