2005 Contech Trophy Contest
Contech pays tribute to Sico for it Ecosource product. On the
occasion of the Contech exhibition, which took place at the Centre
des Congrès in Quebec City on November 3rd, Sico Ecosource
received the 2005 award in the category "sustainable development
innovative product". This category was sponsored by none other
than Sico Ecosource first customer, Public Works and Governmental
Services Canada (740, Bélair Street, Montreal).
Contech has been associated with the building industry for over 20
years. In addition to organizing events and exhibitions across
Quebec, Contech provides a comprehensive training program designed
for architects, property managers, project managers, engineers,
technologists and maintenance officers.
Sico is pleased with the industry's recognition of Ecosource. You
will remember that Sico Ecosource is a paint known for its O VOC1
content, which means that it does not release emissions that could
affect the ozone layer. In addition, this high-performance 100%
acrylic latex formulation is known for its resistance to cycles of
freezing and thawing. Ecosource is also certified Green Seal and
meets the requirements of Sustainable Building Council of Canada for
LEED2 project certification.
