Surface bubbles (foaming)

Causes

  1. Overly shaken product.
  2. Product applied too rapidly.
  3. Use of inappropriate tools.
  4. Overly high room temperature.
  5. Poorly packaged tools.
  6. Excessive pressure on tool.

Solutions

  1. Let the product rest: bubbles will disappear after a while. This settling period may vary from one product to another. Slowly stir the product with a stirring stick.
  2. Apply the product more slowly.
  3. Use appropriate tools (rollers, brushes or specialized applicators).
  4. Check the room temperature. A product should not be exposed to excessive temperatures.
  5. Package tools properly.
  6. Use tools properly.
