Crease marks generally or partially appearing on coatings.

Causes

  1. Excessively thick film.
  2. Surfaces that are too cold.
  3. A second coat applied over a coating that has not yet dried.

Solutions

  1. Also for causes 2-3: Strip the coating. Prepare surface again. Use the proper application method on affected areas. Make sure not to overlap unaffected areas. If necessary, apply a coat on the whole surface to obtain an even finish.
  • Use preferably glossy coatings in areas subject to heavy traffic or frequent cleanings.
  • Clean the surface with the cleaner with active oxygen Polyprep 771-135 or 771-136 using a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Gently scrub the surface and rinse with clear water.
