Even though the temperatures are still on the warm side, and some of us are still enjoying some beautiful balmy weather, fall will officially be here before we even know it and with it, all the latest trends in fashion.

Even though the temperatures are still on the warm side, and some of us are still enjoying some beautiful balmy weather, fall will officially be here before we even know it and with it, all the latest trends in fashion.

We sure have enjoyed outdoor activities, barbeques, picnics, lazy strolls and long days spent at the cottage, but now it is time to look forward to the new season and cozy up once the temperatures start to cool down. After all, September is the month to start longing for fall jackets, layers, sweaters and boots.

Fall runways were filled with great trends, and fall styles are starting to hit the shelves already, so if you thought you were not in the mood for fall dressing, once you see the great offerings, I’m sure you’ll change your mind. Plus, some of the trends are fine for this weather, which gives you the opportunity to maximize their wear.

One thing you can be certain of is that this fall you will be able to be stylish and comfortable at the same time as big chunky, cozy sweaters were front and center at many shows. Cozy knits were not limited to sweaters, as dresses, skirts, coats and pants were also made of this comfortable fabric. Sixties-inspired frocks and silhouettes dominated many runways, just as patterns and, surprisingly, florals did. In addition to unexpected bright and vibrant hues like cobalt blue, emerald and orange, pastels also made their appearance and were featured in many collections.

With the best of summer already behind us, and fall quickly approaching, all we can do is look forward to fresh fashion trends and what the new season has to offer. So whether you are ready or not, it sure is time to start falling for fall fashions!
