HOW TO INTEGRATE AN OFFICE NOOK INTO YOUR DÉCOR
If you’re working from home, you need a proper space to work in! A dedicated office area increases performance and helps you to stay focused and is the best setting for getting down to work. Follow these 7 simple steps to set up an office space that fits your personality.
What you’ll need:
pencil
yardstick
painter's tape
saw
shelves
brackets and mounting accessories
can of paint, paint tray and roller
STEP 1: Prepare the space
When choosing the spot for your new workspace, make sure the area matches the dimensions of your desk.
STEP 2: Mark out the area
Using a pencil and yardstick, mark out the area on the wall you’ll be painting.
STEP 3: Apply painter’s tape
Apply the painter’s tape on the outside of the pencil lines so that the area you paint will be within the lines.
STEP 4: Paint the area
Paint the area with your favourite Sico paint colour that matches the mood of your space and your personality.
STEP 5: Remove the tape
Remove the painter’s tape while the paint is still wet, helping to ensure crisper lines. Now, just let the paint completely dry.
STEP 6: Cut and mount the shelves
Cut your shelves to the exact width of the painted area. Then, mount them on the wall.
STEP 7: Add accessories
The only thing left to do is decorate the space with your favourite accessories. Your new workspace is the perfect place to get your creativity flowing.
